Delivering quality Aviation Services throughout the Nordic region and at Manchester

Aviator was founded in December 2010 when Aviator acquired the Swedish company Nordic Aero, and the two Norwegian companies Røros Flyservice and Norport Ground Handling. In April 2011 we expanded further with the purchase of the Danish companies Novia and Sturup Handling. In 2014 Aviator acquired the former Servisair and Swissport operations at Gatwick, Birmingham, Newcastle and Helsinki. In April 2015 Aviator expanded in the UK-market by adding Manchester to its network. Aviator takes a strategic review of it´s business and exits Birmingham, Edinburgh, Gatwick and Newcastle in November 2016, but keeps a presence in the UK by retaining Manchester in it´s network.

Aviator is owned by the investment fund Accent Equity 2008 as the majority shareholder. Aviator had a turnover of approximately €212m in 2015 and actively employs more than 2,400 personnel.

Aviator started as a strong group in Scandinavia, and has now developed into a Nordic and UK, one-stop shop for aviation services. We are a full-range provider of aviation services, taking care of passengers and equipment at 17 airports from Helsinki to Manchester.
